Programs and Resources
The AARP Livable Communities initiative supports the efforts of local leaders and community members to make their neighborhoods, towns, cities and rural areas great places for people of all ages by providing safe, walkable streets; age-friendly housing and transportation options; access to needed services; and opportunities for residents of all ages to participate in community life.
Following are just some of the ways AARP is helping communities achieve their goals.
