Changing Your Medicare Plan During Open Enrollment

En español | If you switch Medicare plans during open enrollment (Oct. 15 to Dec. 7 each year), your new coverage begins on Jan. 1 — regardless of whether you change from one Medicare Advantage plan to another, or one Part D drug plan to another, or from a Medicare Advantage plan to the original Medicare program or vice versa.
