En español | If you have TRICARE, you don’t need to enroll in Medicare Part D. This is because most people with TRICARE entitled to Part A must have Part B to keep their TRICARE prescription drug benefits. If you do decide to enroll in Part D, your Medicare drug plan pays first and TRICARE pays second. If you are in a Medicare Advantage plan, the Medicare plan and TRICARE coordinate the payments.
