DreamCloud Mattress Review (2026): Our Favorite Models

Our team of sleep experts put the brand’s mattresses to the test to help find the right one for you

When we surveyed 300 adults ages 50 and older who purchased a new mattress in the last three years, DreamCloud owners reported some of the highest satisfaction rates of any brand. Across the 20 brands we included in the poll, 66 percent of respondents reported feeling “very happy” with their purchase. For DreamCloud owners, that satisfaction rate jumped to 80 percent, with the other 20 percent reporting they were “somewhat happy” with their purchase.

DreamCloud is a popular mattress brand known for quality beds at wallet-friendly prices. Based on our experience testing DreamCloud mattresses with older adults, we found the company offers high-quality memory foam beds and sturdy, supportive hybrids — both of which help ease pressure for a better night’s sleep. The construction and comfort of these beds, paired with their relatively low prices, make DreamCloud one of the best mattress values on the market.

All models tested were queen size mattresses unless otherwise noted.

Comparing DreamCloud models

What we like about DreamCloud

Every DreamCloud mattress we tested earned high scores all-around. Some models may have lower or average scores in one or two tests, but overall the brand is one of the most consistently high-performing mattress companies we’ve tested.

DreamCloud beds particularly shine in their construction — testers told us the company’s memory foam feels comfortable and cushioning without “sucking” them into the bed, while the brand’s hybrid models strike the right balance of plush comfort and sturdy support from a base layer of steel coils.

Our testers said each model delivered strong pressure relief and good support, which helped keep their spine aligned and comfortable.

On top of being a great value (we’ve seen the company’s sales slash prices by more than half), customers receive free shipping and returns, and DreamCloud beds are backed by a lifetime warranty and a 365-night trial period, compared to the 120-night trial that many other companies offer customers.

Read on for our reviews of three of the company’s most popular beds: the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid, Classic Memory Foam and Premier Hybrid.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Stellar pressure relief
  • Low cost
  • Great edge support

Cons

  • Too firm for some side sleepers

Features

  • Type: Hybrid
  • Firmness: Medium firm
  • Best sleeping positions: Back, stomach and some side sleepers

Key takeaways from our testing

Great pressure relief at an attractive price. The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is a luxury-style mattress with strong performance scores and a fairly low price tag. Its excellent quality and top-notch pressure relief impressed our testers. It’s a top choice for people seeking a mattress that’s slightly firmer or those who need a bed for back pain. Also, we selected it as our Best Value pick in our roundups of the best mattresses and the best mattresses for side sleepers.

Strong edges. Testers said the mattress’s edges felt secure. “I feel very stable near the edge,” said Toni, a 50-year-old side sleeper. “I could be in the middle for all I know. I feel very stable.” Our lab team conducted an edge support test by placing a 150-pound sandbag near the edge and measuring how much it sank. It sank just 2.5 inches (the average of all beds we tested is 3.9 inches), earning it a flawless rating for edge support.

May be too firm for side sleepers. This bed is well-suited for back and stomach sleepers who prefer a mattress with a firmer feel. However, some side sleepers, especially lighter-weight ones, may find it too firm. “I could use a little more softness,” said Donna, a 60-year-old average-weight side sleeper. “I feel a little pressure building in my shoulder.” Sleeping on a bed that’s too firm can aggravate shoulder or hip pain for side sleepers.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Great pressure relief and spinal alignment for firm bed lovers
  • Excellent motion isolation for couples
  • Surprisingly strong edges for a foam bed

Cons

  • Traps heat

Features

  • Type: Memory foam
  • Firmness: Extra firm
  • Best sleeping positions: Back and stomach sleepers

Key takeaways from our testing

Firm memory foam offers great spinal alignment. The DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam boasts the body-cradling comfort that foam beds are known for. Bryan, a 62-year-old higher-weight combination sleeper, gave the mattress top ratings in both pressure relief and spinal alignment. “I feel equally supported from head to toe,” he said. While the bed garnered high scores for pressure relief in all positions, that might not match every sleeper’s experience. Since Bryan is higher weight, he puts more pressure on this extra-firm mattress than lighter-weight folks. Side sleepers, especially lighter-weight ones, may find this bed too firm. However, stomach and back sleepers will appreciate the spinal alignment.

Top-notch motion isolation. Memory foam mattresses tend to be better at reducing motion transfer than hybrid beds, and this DreamCloud model is no exception. Allison, a 51-year-old side sleeper, rated the bed a stellar score for motion isolation. Our lab team worked with Allison to conduct a couples’ motion isolation test that involved her lying on one side of the mattress wearing a blindfold while a member of our lab team made a series of controlled movements on the other side. The result: “I'm a very light sleeper, and I don't think any of that movement would’ve woken me up,” Allison said. “The disturbance was very minimal overall.” In addition, the mattress’s edge support is near-top-level, likely due to the bed's firmness.

Poor temperature regulation. If you’re a hot sleeper, the DreamCloud Memory Foam probably isn’t for you. Without a coil base, this memory foam mattress lacks the breathability that innersprings provide, and the bed's purported cooling technology did not move the needle in our testing. This mattress received a rock-bottom score in our cooling gun test, which involved heating the mattress for a minute and then measuring the temperature after a one-minute cool-down.

DreamCloud Premier Hybrid: Best for All Sleeping Positions

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Accommodating firmness works for every sleeping position
  • Cooling features
  • Good edge support

Cons

  • High price

Features

  • Type: Hybrid
  • Firmness: Medium firm
  • Best sleeping positions: Side, back and stomach

Key takeaways from our testing

Medium-firm comfort for all positions. The DreamCloud Premier hybrid is by far the most versatile mattress on this list. Its medium-firm profile hits the sweet spot for most sleepers. Donna, a 60-year-old with mild shoulder pain, gave the bed an impressive 4 out of 5 rating for pressure relief on her side. “It feels super supportive, and the mattress is so cushiony," she said. "It's a nice balance of comfort and support.” She also gave it an above-average mark for spinal alignment on her side, a decent rating for edge support, and perfect scores for both back and stomach sleeping.

Great pick for hot sleepers. Out of all the DreamCloud models we tested, the Premier Hybrid earned the best cooling score, nabbing a 4 out of 5. That’s likely due to its breathable coils and Euro top with cooling fibers. Our cooling gun test confirmed the bed provides solid temperature regulation.

Expensive. This is the most expensive model on this list — it costs $694 more than the Classic Hybrid and $865 more than the Classic Memory Foam for a queen. But that price includes the plush Euro top and built-in cooling fibers, and the Euro top is much plusher than the covers on the other beds, making it a very good choice for side sleepers or those looking for a softer mattress.

How much do DreamCloud mattresses cost?

The models in this DreamCloud mattress review cost between $1,548 and $2,496 for queen sizes. The brand’s flagship Classic Hybrid is $1,719 for a queen.

DreamCloud often runs sales that cut prices by up to 60 percent. A sale can drop the Classic Hybrid to about $700 for a queen or a Premier Hybrid to around $1,000.

Is a DreamCloud mattress right for you?

In this DreamCloud review, we covered the brand’s three most popular beds: the Classic Hybrid, Classic Memory Foam and Premier Hybrid. Their pros and cons vary, so you should be selective about which model you choose.

When considering which DreamCloud mattress will help you get better sleep, ask yourself these questions:

Do I want a firm hybrid mattress?

The brand’s signature DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is a solid choice if you’re looking for a hybrid bed that’s on the firmer side but still has a comfort layer that allows you to sink in slightly. It’s not the firmest hybrid we’ve tested, but it falls into the medium-firm to firm category. That’s a good range for most people, though side sleepers who want a bed that really cradles them around the shoulders, hips and knees may find the mattress a tad too firm. The Premier Hybrid is a better choice for those sleeper.

Do I want a medium-firm mattress?

If you’re living with chronic pain or need a bed for neck pain, you know how important a bed’s firmness is. “Mattress firmness is the first factor in relieving pressure,” says Behnam Myers, DO, MPH, board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon in Coral Gables, Florida.

Studies show the best firmness level for average-weight people to get quality sleep is medium-firm, and the Premier Hybrid fits the bill. The bed provides ample support thanks to its pocketed coil support system, while the plush, padded Euro top and memory foam layers cradle the body’s pressure points. Based on our testing, we think it’s the safest choice on this list for anyone not quite sure about their firmness preference.

FAQs

What is the best DreamCloud mattress?

And the Classic Hybrid is well-suited for those looking for a luxury feel at a lower price.

DreamCloud mattresses tend to fall on the firmer side, making them a solid choice for back pain. Thanks to their durable coils and firmer foam layers, they provide the right level of support to keep the spine aligned at night.

Do I require a bed that limits motion?

Light sleepers need a bed that limits motion transfer from partners or pets so they aren’t woken up throughout the night. The DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam excels in this area thanks to its all-foam design.

The hybrid models exceeded our team's expectations. The Classic Hybrid averaged 4 out of 5 across our two motion isolation tests, while the Premier Classic averaged 4.75. Those are strong numbers for hybrid mattresses, which typically score lower in motion isolation due to their bouncy coils. If you want as little motion transfer as possible, we recommend the DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam.

Am I a hot sleeper?

DreamCloud says all of its mattresses have cooling technology in the covers. However, during our testing only the DreamCloud Premier delivered very good temperature regulation. In our cooling gun test, the temperature difference between that mattress’s initial reading and the one-minute cooling time was 14 degrees, earning it a 4 out of 5 in that assessment. In comparison, the Classic Hybrid scored a middling 3 out of 5 and the Classic Memory Foam a dismal 1 out of 5.

Do I want an extra-firm mattress?

There is only one extra-firm model in this DreamCloud mattress review: the Classic Memory Foam. Extra-firm beds are best for back or stomach sleepers who need a mattress that supports their spine’s neutral alignment and want a truly firm feel. The mattress is firm enough that most side sleepers should avoid it unless they’re a higher-weight person.
