Four Ways to Support Healthy Aging

For the past few years, Texans across the state have shown up each week for AARP Texas’ Get Fit classes. In 2026, we’re building on that momentum by expanding the program into Get Fit and Healthy with AARP Texas.

Staying healthy means different things at different stages of life. Sometimes it’s about moving more. Other times, it’s about how we nourish our bodies, care for our emotional well‑being, or stay informed about our health. Our expanded Get Fit and Healthy program brings all of that together, so you can choose whatever path works best for you.

This March, our expanded online offerings bring these ideas together through four areas that support healthy aging:

  • Move Your Body
  • Fuel Your Health
  • Care for Your Mind and Heart
  • Take Charge of Your Health

Whether you want to move more, learn something new, or connect with others who share your goals, each path leads to the same goal—helping you stay healthy and confident as you age. Explore the sessions and find the programs that work for you.
