Nearly 25 years after Stand by Me, Rob Reiner is at it again with Flipped. The movie focuses on that confusing time between eighth-grade and high school.
Reiner uses comedy to show how adults – for better or worse – help kids navigate through that strange period. Starring Rebecca DeMornay and Anthony Edwards, Flipped offers lessons for both grownups and kids. Bill Newcott has more.
