Ingredients

  • Chocolate, caramel or butterscotch syrup, to taste
  • 1 ice cream cone (plain or sugar)
  • Candy or fruit of choice, chopped*, to taste
  • 2 marshmallows

Directions

Drizzle syrup on the inside of ice cream cone to coat. Put a small amount of candy or fruit in the bottom of the cone. Roast the marshmallows. Once the marshmallows are roasted, insert one into the cone, using a knife or spoon to push the marshmallow as far into the cone as possible. Top with a second layer of candy or fruit. Add second roasted marshmallow and top with final layer of candy or fruit.

Variation

For a giant-size parfait, use a waffle cone and create as many marshmallow/candy layers as you can. Flavored marshmallows work great!

Try these yummy flavor combinations:

  • Oreo cookie pieces, chopped nuts and sprinkles
  • Mixed berries and chocolate (all layers)
  • Dark chocolate, espresso beans and chopped biscotti pieces
  • Chopped peaches, blueberries and strawberries
  • Strawberries, Mounds bar and pineapple
  • Chocolate with rice crisps, chocolate with nuts, and chocolate with cornflakes
  • Dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate
  • Andes mints, Junior Mints and Peppermint Patties
