Retired Teacher Gets Girls Into STEM

Cynthia Barnett, an AARP Purpose Prize winner, was a retired elementary school science teacher. Six years after retiring, she created Amazing Girls Science, a nonprofit that has attracted over 500 girls to participate in camps and classes in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
