CHEYENNE - If you have a thought about the future of Laramie, make plans to attend the Forge Laramie Exchange Open House.
The event takes place from 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 19 at 103 East Grand Avenue. The Laramie Planning Department will have hors d'oeuvres, live music and an opportunity to tour the space while learning more about Forge Laramie, the City’s community-driven comprehensive planning effort.
The FORGE Exchange was funded by AARP Wyoming and Age-Friendly Laramie as part of its Age-Friendly and Livable Communities initiatives. The space provides an accessible, welcoming way for people to engage directly with the City Planning Department and be part of shaping Laramie’s long-term vision.
Forge Laramie is the City of Laramie’s effort to update its Comprehensive Plan, which will guide its land use, development, and growth for the next 20 years. This plan relies on local input. To be a part of this process or understand the opportunities to do so, click here. The City Planning Office kicked off this effort in May 2025 and hopes to formally adopt the new Comprehensive Plan by the fall of 2026.
A Forge Exchange Open House will be held February 19, giving the community an opportunity to tour the space and learn more about the project. All are welcome from 6-8 pm to enjoy hours de hovers live music and to see the space
AARP Wyoming will host a listening session on March 26 from 6-8 pm at the FORGE Exchange, focused on hearing directly from older adults
