En español | Medicare covers some but not all of your health care costs. Depending on which plan you choose, you may have to share in the cost of your care by paying premiums, deductibles, copayments and coinsurance. The amount of some of these payments can change from year to year.
Most people who qualify for Medicare don’t pay a monthly premium for Part A, but they do pay premiums for Part B and Part D or a Medicare Advantage plan. Information about the costs for each section of Medicare coverage is available in the explanation of that section (below). You can also call Medicare at 800-633-4227 or go to www.medicare.gov to check on current deductibles, copayments and premiums, and what you will need to pay.
