Start Each Day With This Gentle 5-Minute Upper Body Stretch

Neck, shoulder and wrist stretches can help improve mobility

Video run time is 5 minutes, 21 seconds.
Courtesy: LIFT session

This short, 5-minute upper-body stretching session focuses heavily on your shoulders, back and triceps, allowing you to gain mobility and move comfortably through your full range of movement. Coach Adrian Davis starts by leading you through standing shoulder stretches, pulling your arm over across your chest, then releasing. Then you’ll get down on your mat, kneeling and stretching your arms in front of you. He will also show you how to stretch your neck, arms and wrists.

Remember to maintain regular breathing throughout and take breaks as needed, and if you feel any resistance or pain, stretch carefully without overextending yourself.

Please consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.
