Pilates Anytime: Exercise for a Healthy Heart

Welcome to the second class of instructor Joy Puleo’s Functional Health series, from Pilates Anytime, an online streaming platform.

In this 27-minute class,  you will learn Pilates and Pilates-inspired movements to address cardio-metabolic health and support a healthy heart. The instructor will guide you through different ways to tap into the body’s processes to help increase energy and metabolism on a deep and cellular level. This class offers modifications for all fitness levels and beginners are welcome.

About the instructor

Joy Puleo is a nationally certified Pilates teacher with Pilates Anytime. She’s based in Sacramento, California, and is the education program manager for Balanced Body, which provides Pilates training and sells Pilates reformer machines. She earned her master’s degree in applied physiology from Columbia University. As a lecturer, she presents at conferences and studios across the country and abroad. Joy has been teaching Pilates teachers since 2002 and in the health and wellness industry since 1996.
