AARP has been nominated for 14 Webby Awards, which recognize the best online stories, podcasts, social media and videos, and eight Shorty Awards, which honor website and social media content. Both competitions offer the audience a chance to vote for their favorite story, podcast or video.
Finalists for the Shorty Awards Audience Honors include AARP’s TikTok series on intergenerational humor and a video series featuring real-life stories of people 50 and older who depend on their Social Security income and Medicaid coverage.
