Free Summer Technology Programs Offered at Pine Bluffs Senior Center
CHEYENNE - Older adults in eastern Wyoming will have the opportunity to build confidence with technology this summer through a series of free classes offered at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center, in partnership with Senior Planet from AARP.
The monthly sessions, held on the second Monday of each month from June through November, are designed to help participants better understand and use today’s most important digital tools. Each session runs from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center, located at 309 Elm Street.
The program schedule includes:
- June 8: Everyday Uses of Artificial Intelligence
- July 13: How to Choose a New Computer
- August 10: Introduction to Social Media
- September 14: Passwords, Passkeys, and More
- October 12: Streaming & Smart TVs
- November 9: Technology for Aging in Place
Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices and take advantage of hands-on guidance from a volunteer trainer, as well as the opportunity to ask questions in a supportive learning environment.
“These classes are designed to make technology approachable and useful for everyday life,” AARP Wyoming’s Jennifer Baier said. “Whether you’re curious about AI, looking to stay connected on social media, or want to feel more confident using your devices, there’s something in this series for everyone.”
The program is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To sign up, call the Pine Bluffs Senior Center at 307-245-3816.
