CHEYENNE — AARP Wyoming members are encouraged to take part in Laramie’s Third Annual Community Clean-up Days on April 18-May 4. Clean-up Days will get underway on Saturday, April 18, with a free kickoff event from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.at the Laramie Rec Center.
The family-friendly kickoff event will involve give-aways, food trucks, bouncy houses for the kids and community organizations showing off their missions and work. AARP Wyoming will offer door prizes, and an overview of its work in Laramie around housing and Age-Friendly Laramie.
“We would love to get AARP members out in Laramie and volunteering – encourage them to stop by the AARP tent at the kickoff event to see what AARP Wyoming and Age Friendly Laramie are doing in Albany County,” said AARP Wyoming Associate State Director for Outreach and Local Advocacy Jennifer Baier.
For questions about the kickoff event or how to volunteer, click here or contact Laramie Code Enforcement at (307) 721-5285.
