AARP Washington announced seven organizations throughout Washington will receive 2025 Community Challenge grants – part of AARP’s largest investment in communities to date with more than $4 million awarded among 380 organizations nationwide. Grantees will implement quick-action projects that help communities become more age-friendly.
“AARP Washington is committed to working with local leaders, advocates and policymakers to provide support and resources that results in healthier, safer, and more affordable communities for all Washingtonians,” said Marguerite Ro, AARP Washington State Director. “We are proud to support this year’s grantees as they bring about positive changes in our communities.”
Here in Washington, seven projects were funded for a total of $63,392. Those projects include:
