Meet the Hosts: Vernita Harris and Beatrice Moore
The Brunch, Lunch & Munch series is hosted by longtime friends and community leaders Vernita Harris and Beatrice Moore, whose partnership is rooted in decades of service and a shared commitment to giving back. Drawing from their personal health journeys, Vernita and Beatrice focus on flavor‑forward recipes that are mindful of nutrition and accessibility. Their thoughtful blend of humor, storytelling and practical insight shows that cooking does not need to be complicated to be meaningful. Through their work with AARP, they help create welcoming spaces that encourage healthier habits, connection and community care.
