Technology can open doors to everyday convenience, connection, and independence. Whether you want to feel more comfortable using a computer, navigating online tools, or staying connected with family, friends, and services, Technology Basics for Older Adults series can help.

Through a partnership between AARP Texas and Dallas College, you can take part in a beginner-friendly course designed to build confidence with computers and technology devices. Come learn essential functions, applications, and online safety practices through hands-on activities and guided instruction. In-class computers and devices are provided for instruction.

This class is designed for the person who has ever said, “I wish someone would just walk me through it.” Here, you can ask questions, practice at your own pace, and leave feeling more prepared to use technology in daily life.

To register, complete the online form, then select the campus and class you would like to attend. Registration is limited to one campus per submission. If you would like to register for classes at multiple campuses, please submit a separate registration form for each campus.
