Most Americans want to stay in their communities for their lifetime, and they need those communities to be ready.
That’s why AARP again is hosting the annual AARP Community Challenge grant program. In its eighth year, this program provides grants to fund quick-action projects that can help make a community more comfortable and safe for people of all ages.
Through March 4th, the AARP Community Challenge is accepting applications from eligible non-profit organizations and local governments. It’s quick and easy to apply!
Since 2017, AARP has invested over $16.4 million in community improvements across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Communities of all sizes have benefited from these investments, including:
