GREENSBORO, NC — Get inspired to create easy, homemade meals with easy to find ingredients for a perfect spring flavor. A free spring AARP Nutrition & Cooking Series consists of three interactive online sessions led by Cindy Silver, an experienced registered dietitian. Each session will focus on simple, nutritious ingredients and tasty recipes that participants can easily replicate at home.
During the sessions you will receive recipe handouts and will be given access to a free, monthly e-newsletter with seasonal nutrition information, inspiration, and healthful homemade recipes.
Participants will:
May 14: Spring Greens & Herbs Chicken Salad; and Spring Chicken & Stale Bread Salad
May 21: Spring Kale Salad with Smoked Salmon & Walnuts; Spring Kale Salad with Peanuts & Peanut Dressing
May 28: Spring Colors Pasta Salad; and Spring Shrimp & Sugar Snap Pea Pasta Salad
