AARP New Jersey's Virtual Healthy Living series continues in 2026! You'll learn about AARP New Jersey resources that supports healthy living while staying active and healthy in the comfort of your home. We offer classes with certified instructors ranging from bone-strengthening classes, Tai Chi, Zumba, Chair Yoga, and more!

In this virtual bone-strengthening workout, American Council on Exercise (ACE)-certified instructor Mitch Menik will guide you through dynamic standing, stretching and chair exercises, performed with or without weights, that are designed to mildly stress the body. This practice promotes an increase in bone density, protecting against osteoporosis, and can help strengthen the muscles that support the skeletal structure, improving balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. The classes are on Wednesday, March 18 at 12 p.m. or 6 p.m.
Join us for a friendly, instructor-led session designed to boost balance, strength and relaxation—all from the comfort of home. Whether you're new to Tai Chi or returning to the practice, this uplifting session is a simple step toward feeling your best.

In our chair yoga classes, a yoga instructor will lead you through postures while using a chair for support. The benefits of this practice include increased balance, flexibility, strength, and reduced stress.
