Take simple, but meaningful, steps to support your well-being and learn about AARP New Jersey's available resources that support healthy living with our free, virtual chair yoga classes on Wednesday, February 25 at 12 p.m. or 6 p.m.
In this virtual bone-strengthening workout, American Council on Exercise (ACE)-certified instructor Mitch Menik will guide you through dynamic standing, stretching and chair exercises, performed with or without weights, that are designed to mildly stress the body. This practice promotes an increase in bone density, protecting against osteoporosis, and can help strengthen the muscles that support the skeletal structure, improving balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. The classes are on Wednesday, March 18 at 12 p.m. or 6 p.m.
