What we do is give you clear, credible information about when, where and how to vote, so you can make your own decisions with confidence.

What Is on the Ballot in Nevada

Nevada's 2026 general election includes every statewide office:

• Governor
• Lieutenant Governor
• Attorney General
• Secretary of State
• State Controller
• State Treasurer
• All four U.S. House seats
• Seats in the Nevada Legislature
• State Board of Regents

There is no U.S. Senate seat on Nevada's ballot in 2026.

Important Dates for the November General Election

• Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
• Early in-person voting: Saturday, October 17 through Friday, October 30, 2026
• Voter registration by mail: postmarked by Tuesday, October 6, 2026
• Voter registration online: through Tuesday, November 3, 2026
• Same-day registration: available during early voting and on Election Day
• Poll hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day

Voting at a Glance

Nevada mails a ballot to every active registered voter. You do not need to request one.

• Check your registration. Visit the Nevada Secretary of State voter portal at https://www.nvsos.gov/votersearch/
• Vote by mail. Return your ballot postmarked by Election Day, or drop it at any official dropbox in your county before polls close. The Secretary of State recommends mailing your ballot back at least a week before Election Day.
• Track your ballot. Visit https://myballot.nv.gov to confirm your ballot was received and counted.
• Vote early in person. Early voting locations are posted by your county before the early voting period opens.
• Vote on Election Day. Bring identification if you are registering at the polls.
