This November, Nevadans will choose a new Governor and Attorney General, fill four U.S. House seats and elect members of the Nevada Legislature. Those choices shape much of what touches daily life across the state: the cost of living, health care and caregiving, long-term care, energy bills, and how strongly Nevada pursues fraud and consumer protection.

AARP Nevada and Nevada Public Radio's Community at Studio One are hosting an evening built around those issues, along with Social Security and the other concerns Nevadans 50 and older are carrying into this election.

What to Expect

A panel of Nevadans will share honest, firsthand accounts of what they are facing and what they want the people seeking their vote to hear. Las Vegas journalist Steve Sebelius will guide the conversation.

This is not a debate and it is not a campaign event. It is a nonpartisan conversation about the issues that matter most to Nevadans 50 and older.

You will leave with a clearer picture of where these issues stand, practical resources to take home, and a stronger sense of your own voice heading into the election.
