How Does the Brain Make Memories? An In-Person Educational Workshop at Union Station
Join us on September 16th as we look at the brain's ability to make and store memories.
AARP Missouri continues to provide virtual and in-person activities that focus on brain health relating to peoples’ ability to think and reason as they age, including aspects of memory, perception and judgment.
We hope you will join us at historic Union Station in Kansas City as we sponsor Science City's Saturday STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Seminar "How Does the Brain Make Memories".
Kausik Si, Ph.D., a developmental neuroscientist, is the Scientific Director for the Stowers Institute. His presentation will explore how proteins help the brain recreate the world for us and encode memories of things we love and fear, and how this changes as we age.
