June Duffour Named Andrus Award winner
At 97, June Duffour isn’t just a member of the Diamondhead Senior Village but also teaches line dancing there.
For her efforts as a founding member and a volunteer for this new community resource, Duffour was named winner of AARP Mississippi’s 2023 Andrus Award for Community Service.
The Diamondhead Senior Village near Gulfport is part of the national Village to Village Network. It’s a hub for older residents to exercise, socialize and connect with resources.
