Join Up: AARP Seeks Fraud Prevention Volunteers

AARP Maine is looking for volunteers to help with fraud prevention presentations. Training is provided, so no experience is necessary. You’ll be able to team up with other local fraud fighters and law enforcement officials to help Mainers learn how to spot and avoid scams.

Maine consumers reported more than 6,600 incidents of fraud, identity theft and related problems in the first half of 2024, according to Federal Trade Commission data.

The AARP presentations may be delivered in person or virtually. Learn more by sending an email to me@aarp.org or calling 866-554-5380.
