Participate in the AARP Digital Elders Program
Geared toward Wichitans who are age 50+
Join AARP Wichita for a series of four introductory classes focusing on current digital trends. Start with online safety, introduction to emails, introduction to social media, and introduction to service apps such as food delivery.
Participants will work through all four weekly classes. The classes are geared to ensure that participants are ready for safely using the internet. They will learn how technology can improve their lives and become a tool to address social isolation.
The classes will take place each Thursday in October, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Each class will have a different topic. They are as follows:
Thursday, October 5, 2023 — Online Safety
- Thursday, October 12, 2023 — Sending emails
- Thursday, October 19, 2023 — Social Media
- Thursday, October 26, 2023 — Service Apps
