The annual AARP California Legislator of the Year Award is an opportunity to highlight a California legislator whose proactive work results in empowering Californians ages 50+ and their families to live their best lives. Senator Wiener exhibited strong leadership in this area by authoring important legislation, including SB 960 to advance Complete Street policies so that older adults, now and in the future, can safely navigate and enjoy their communities.
