Cryptocurrency ATMs now under state regulation
A new law adds cryptocurrency ATMs to the list of services that are regulated by the state’s Uniform Money Services Act.
The law sets daily transaction limits, caps fees and requires clear fraud warnings. It also gives new customers the right to cancel fraudulent transactions within 72 hours and receive a refund and requires operators to provide live customer support.
