Springtime offers a bouquet of new offerings on Prime Video, from Tom Cruise’s possibly final Mission: Impossible outing to livestreamed coverage of the New York Yankees to a rebooted edition of American Gladiators. For viewers looking for something more erudite, the streamer is rolling out an adaptation of Isabel Allende’s classic 1982 novel The House of the Spirits, in which history, romance and magical realism merge in a troubled South American country modeled on Allende’s native Chile. Don’t miss these 10 best things coming to Prime Video this month.
Coming April 3
Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning (2025, PG-13)
At 63, Tom Cruise is still running through glamorous foreign cities, hanging off airplane wings midflight and jumping into open waters as superspy Ethan Hunt. Despite the title tease, it’s hard to believe that the still-high-adrenaline eighth outing in the franchise will really be the last.
Coming April 8
New York Yankees
American League fans: Want to watch the Yankees? Prime Video kicks off its season-long live coverage of the team beginning with this early-April hosting of the Athletics, followed by the L.A. Angels on April 15. On April 22 the Bronx Bombers head to archrival Boston, then to Globe Life Field to take on the Texas Rangers. Settle in: Prime will livestream a total of 21 games this season.
