Remembering Frank Sinatra Jr.

Frank Sinatra Jr. Talks About His Famous Father

When Frank Sinatra Jr. died of a heart attack in Florida March 17, he was in the midst of a singing tour — a career he left for seven years, at his father's request, to serve as the senior Sinatra's music director.

For the rest of his life, Frank Jr. spoke of his dad with a sense of awe, affectionately referring to him as “Mr. Sinatra.” In this candid, heartfelt 2011 interview, Frank Jr.  shows Movies for Grownups’ Bill Newcott around the legendary Capitol Records recording studios where his dad — along with pals like Dean Martin and Nat Cole — made music history in the 1950s and ‘60s.
