This browser extension gives you timely reminders when you browse online and visit sites that feature information and products related to AARP offerings.
How It Works
Adds browser features
AARP Perks is an online extension that adds helpful features to your Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers. Currently, AARP Perks is only available for desktops and laptops.
There when you need it
Because it’s added to your browser, AARP Perks will be there to remind you about AARP information and member benefits that are relevant to where you’re browsing.
Keep your data safe
AARP does not store your web browsing data or share it with anyone else. AARP Perks was only created to help you get the most out of your AARP membership.
Adding AARP Perks to Chrome or Microsoft Edge
1. Visit the Google Chrome Store
In Chrome: Click on the “Add AARP Perks to My Browser” button to visit the Google Chrome Store. Then, select the blue “Add to Chrome” button at the top right of the page.
In Microsoft Edge: Click on the “Add AARP Perks to My Browser” button to visit the Google Chrome Store. Then, allow Chrome extensions from other stores in the blue bar at the top and select the blue “Add to Chrome” button at the top right of the page.
2. Give your permission
Your permission is always required to add an extension. Click “Add extension” to install it. Please note: AARP Perks will not record any sites you visit.
3. Log in and start browsing
To verify that it’s really you, you’ll next be asked to log in to your AARP account. Then, you’re ready to browse and connect with the great things your AARP membership offers.
