Staying Fit
This 30-minute gentle flow yoga class is great for beginners, and through a series of slower-paced movements, focuses on improving strength, balance and flexibility.
LIFT session instructor Brandon Dawson-Jarvis offers variations and uses blocks in assisting his moves, but you can use a thick hardcover book. You’ll slowly work up to a sitting position and finally a standing position, working on breath and stretching throughout. You’ll practice many poses, including Downward Facing Dog, Warrior Pose, Child’s Pose, Seated Cow and Baby Cobra.
