Pilates Anytime: Improve Your Stamina

In Class 6 of the 30-Minute Pilates series, learn about the mind-body connection

Welcome to the sixth class of instructor Kira Lamb’s 30-Minute Pilates series, from Pilates Anytime, an online streaming platform.

This Pilates mat class, Improve Your Stamina, will work on building stamina and endurance. The instructor will demonstrate how to flow from one exercise to the next and keep you moving for the entire class. The idea is to breathe and move consciously, even if you need to modify some movements, so you can sustain your awareness of the mind-body connection. This class offers modifications for people of all fitness levels, including beginners.

About the instructor

Kira Lamb is a New York state–licensed massage therapist and Classical Pilates teacher certified through Power Pilates and The New York Pilates Studio. While currently in private practice, she began her teaching career in 2002 at boutique studios and luxury fitness clubs in Los Angeles and New York City. Her love of Pilates grew during her 20-year career as a professional dancer and aerial artist, which included touring with Puff Daddy, Missy Elliott and Gloria Estefan and performing in off-Broadway shows like De La Guarda: Villa Villa and Fuerza Bruta: Look Up.
