AARP Studios presents The Hidden Power of Purpose, a feature-length documentary film narrated by Debbie Allen, profiling four stories of incredible human beings who are living lives driven by purpose and making the world a better place through their ideas and efforts. The film bridges the inspiring stories with the latest scientific research from academia and industry, interweaving insights from the world’s leading health experts whose work affirms that living a life of purpose and living longer are inextricably intertwined. 

Included in the documentary are top researchers and leading scientists from the University of Michigan, Cornell, UCLA, Johns Hopkins and George Mason University. Also featured are Deepak Chopra, world-renowned leader in the fields of holistic health and human potential, and CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta who shares insights on the correlation between brain health and living a meaningful life.
