The AARP Bulletin is compiling a special report on Social Security, with stories by and about people like you.

If you answer "yes" to any of the following questions, we want your story, for possible use in the Bulletin.

Share your experience with Social Security.

  • Do you live solely on Social Security? Do you have secrets and strategies that help you make ends meet?
  • Are you or a child receiving survivor benefits because a worker has died? How do the payments make a difference in your lives?
  • Do you depend on a disability check, or have you in the past?

Put your experiences, tips and strategies into an essay of 300 words or less and email it to Or mail it to SSTale, AARP Bulletin, 601 E St. NW, Washington, DC 20049.
