Celebrate 50 Years of Oklahoma State Parks Naturalists June 6 and Enter to Win $500
Events at Quartz Mountain, Lake Murray, Lake Eufaula, Beavers Bend, Robbers Cave, and Sequoyah State Parks feature hands-on activities, raffle prizes, and the AARP Oklahoma Outdoor Experience Sweepstakes.
Oklahoma State Parks will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Naturalist Program on June 6, with family-friendly events across the state, sponsored by AARP Oklahoma. The Naturalist 50th Anniversary celebrations will take place from 9 - 11 a.m. at six Oklahoma State Parks, offering visitors a chance to enjoy hands-on activities, refreshments, photo opportunities with Park Pal, the program mascot, and a chance to win $500 in the AARP Oklahoma Outdoor Experience sweepstakes.

The Oklahoma State Parks Naturalist Program has been connecting visitors with the outdoors for 50 years through guided programs, educational activities, and interactive experiences. Naturalists help visitors explore wildlife, understand ecosystems, and gain a deeper appreciation for Oklahoma’s diverse landscapes.
