AARP

The AARP Louisiana Community Resource Center (CRC) in New Orleans is looking for friendly, dependable volunteers to help us create a warm, welcoming space for our community. The CRC is a vibrant hub for workshops, events, volunteer activities, and community connection—and our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

As a CRC volunteer, you’ll play an important role in supporting day‑to‑day activities. Responsibilities may include greeting visitors, signing participants in for events, answering phones, filing, organizing and restocking supplies, helping prepare the conference room for events, and assisting with light computer work. Volunteers are often the first people our guests meet, so a welcoming smile and a willingness to help go a long way.

If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and being part of a team that makes a difference, we would love to welcome you to the CRC. Your time and talents help AARP Louisiana deliver meaningful programs and services that support older adults and strengthen the New Orleans community.

Ready to get involved? To learn more about volunteering at the Community Resource Center, contact Daphney Young at dyoung@aarp.org or call (504) 485-2162.
