Savings Expected from Slowdown in Medicare Spending

Medicare spending growth rates have remained low since 2009, thanks in part to reforms introduced in the Affordable Care Act. Medicare’s fiscal outlook in the mid and long term is stronger and projected spending is dramatically lower than previously expected.
