Mary Boyle

ABOUT

Mary Boyle, MS, is director of digital strategies for AARP Public Policy Institute (PPI), which develops policy solutions designed to improve economic security, health care, and quality of life for older Americans. Boyle leads a talented team responsible for publishing PPI reports, analyses, blogs, videos, graphics and data visualizations, as well as promoting that content across multiple platforms to raise PPI’s visibility, thought leadership and impact.

Before joining AARP, Boyle was vice president of communications for Common Cause, the national nonpartisan advocacy organization that works to strengthen democracy at the federal and state levels. She also worked for more than 10 years as a daily reporter for news organizations, including the Associated Press.

She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in English from the College of the Holy Cross.
