Carl Levesque

ABOUT

Carl Levesque is manager of editorial services at the AARP Public Policy Institute, where he works with subject matter experts as an editor, writer, writing coach, and operational manager to ensure the institute's content and publications are accessible and of top quality. He also works with AARP experts and executives outside of the Public Policy Institute on content for a range of audiences.

Before joining AARP, Levesque worked as a communications consultant, assisting clients in renewable energy and a range of other industries by providing support on content, messaging, publications, and other communications needs. Much of his work involved positioning executives and other professionals as subject matter experts and thought leaders. Prior to managing verbal communications (e.g., news releases, blogs, statements, speechwriting) for the American Clean Power Association, Levesque worked as a journalist, primarily as a feature writer.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from James Madison University.
