Noah Wyle Ranked No. 1 on AARP's Movies for Grownups "25 Hottest Gen X Actors" List
Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal, Ryan Gosling and Taye Diggs round out the top five
WASHINGTON—AARP’s Movies for Grownups today unveiled its inaugural list of the 25 Hottest Gen X Actors, recognizing leading men who continue to redefine what it means to thrive with age while delivering some of the most compelling performances of their careers.
Ranking No. 1 is Noah Wyle, 55. Wyle, who won an AARP Movies for Grownups Award in January for his work on The Pitt, is joined on the 25 Hottest Gen X Actors list by Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal, Ryan Gosling, Taye Diggs, and more.
This list celebrates the Gen X actors who bring their rich life experience to every role, and who embody living well and thriving, whether they’re approaching 50 or recently crossed that milestone. These 25 men have amassed hundreds of award nominations and dozens of wins, from Movies for Grownups Awards and Oscars to Golden Globes and Emmys. They each reflect the reinvention and authenticity that define what it means to get better with age.
“This year's list was built on a clear set of criteria: the quality and ambition of recent work, awards recognition, cultural resonance, and the rare ability to hold an audience's attention not just for a moment but across decades,” said Alison Maxwell, senior executive editor of AARP.org. “For actors like Noah Wyle, Hugh Jackman, Pedro Pascal and Sterling K.
