Snapshots: Banks Empowering Customers and Fighting Exploitation
This report showcases simple and effective solutions financial institutions are using to fight exploitation. These snapshots also reveal how financial institutions are helping 50+ customers with several issues, including financial caregiving, dementia and accessibility.
AARP conducted several interviews the past year with financial institutions to identify promising practices to fight exploitation. We are sharing those practices in a new report with the hope that other financial institutions will adopt them. The practices included in this report can serve as a guide for financial institutions wishing to expand their services, augment employee training, use new technology, and increase their community involvement efforts.
