Despite the difference in location and size, rural and remote towns, counties, small cities and regions are united by a strong connection to place and the need for community members and local leaders to engage and work together despite distances and, often, limited resources. 

AARP Rural Lab is our name for the discussion sessions that are hosted by AARP state offices with the local leaders of rural and remote communities nationwide. Participants are invited to share information and ideas that rural and remote communities can use to kickstart innovative solutions to local challenges.
