How to Play Crossworlde

Crosswordle is the fun and challenging daily word puzzle game where you strategically swap letters to unlock each word without running out of moves.

Game Mechanics
Each Crosswordle puzzle can be solved with 6 swaps remaining. For an extra challenge, aim to finish with all 6!

• Green letters are in the correct position—no action needed.
• Yellow letters belong in the correct word (horizontal or vertical) but are in the wrong spot. Move them until they turn green.
• Grey letters are in the wrong word. Swap them into the correct word to turn them green. Swap letters into their correct position to make all letters green. But be strategic—you have a limited number of swaps. Random guessing won’t work. To swap letters, click or tap one letter and then the other to switch them. The first letter will turn blue to indicate it's selected. Click it again to cancel. Solve the puzzle before running out of swaps and you win!

• Daily Mode: One new puzzle each day. You only get one try!
• Practice Mode: Unlimited puzzles for learning and skill-building.

Gameplay Tips

Practice First
Start with Practice Mode to learn the rules and get a feel for swapping. Daily Mode offers no do-overs, so avoid using it for your first try.

Start With What You Know
Begin with a word you feel confident about. Getting one or two words right early on will help reveal the rest.

Watch Your Swaps
Swaps are limited, especially in Daily Mode. Be thoughtful—random moves waste swaps and lower your score. Fewer swaps = more stars!
