The 95th Academy Awards provided a night of high glamour as Hollywood’s top celebrities over 50 brought their fashion A game to the show that honors the best and brightest in film.

​​Curtis, the best supporting actress winner for Everything Everywhere All at Once, matched the champagne-colored carpet in a stunning pastel gown from Dolce & Gabbana. “Remember when you are watching tonight the thousands of artists and seamstresses and tailors and designers and craftspeople who create the beautiful outfits and garments that we all wear,” Curtis wrote on Instagram next to a photo of the Italian team that made her dress.

Marlee Matlin, 57

Basic black? No way. The CODA actress’s long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana gown with a fitted jacket-style top and flowing skirt with marabou trim was accented with Briony Raymond jewels and a Roger Vivier bag. Matlin scored a best actress Oscar in 1987 for her role in Children of a Lesser God.

Sigourney Weaver, 73

The Avatar: The Way of Water star took the “going for the gold” mantra to new heights: Her Givenchy gown shimmered like an Oscar statuette. The Hollywood icon has been nominated for three Oscars, for AliensWorking Girl and Gorillas in the Mist.

Talk about purple reign! Bassett, a supporting actress nominee for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, rocked the carpet in a perfectly purple frock from Moschino by Jeremy Scott. “It’s light, it’s royal purple, the color of royalty, and also … spring!” she told E!

​Connelly’s no stranger to Oscar red carpets, having won the best supporting actress Oscar for A Beautiful Mind in 2002. This year, as a presenter, she rocked an architecturally inspired Louis Vuitton by Nicolas Ghesquiere gown paired with a sleek bun. When E! host Laverne Cox asked how she helped Tom Cruise nail his role in Top Gun: Maverick, Connelly said: “I don’t think he needs any help elevating his own performances. He’s in a league of his own. He’s extraordinary. It was a pleasure to work with him.”

Nicole Kidman, 55

​Kidman turned heads in a one-shouldered black shimmery Armani Privé gown with bold black-and-sequin rosettes on the hip and shoulder and a leg-baring slit. “Understated … it is the way to rock tonight,” she told ABC. The actress’s accomplishments are anything but understated: She has been nominated five times for an Oscar, nabbing a best actress win for The Hours.

​“A cloud of happiness” — that’s how Yeoh, best actress winner for Everything Everywhere All at Once, described her white, feathered Dior gown. “I’m feeling really happy. I’m feeling at peace. We got here. Who would have imagined this little movie that had a big heart came all the way to the Oscars? So I’m happy,” she told E!

Cate Blanchett, 53

​The two-time Oscar winner, who is known for her daring sense of style, didn’t disappoint. The star, nominated for best actress for her role in Tár wore a Louis Vuitton ensemble with an eye-catching satin blue draped top with dramatic shoulder pads and long black fishtail skirt.

The Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress brought the sizzle to a sea of neutrals in a burnt-orange shimmery metallic Gucci gown with halter-style top, keyhole neckline and train. Hayek, who was nominated for best actress in 2002 for her role in Frida, completed the ensemble with a simple gold clutch.
