Sometimes, it’s easier to just ask. That’s why AARP has a dedicated toll-free caregiving line for people taking care of a loved one. Our agents can’t provide specific advice to callers, but they can offer support and resources on a variety of topics including:
- Care for the Caregiver
- Caregiving and Work
- Finances
- Health
- Home Care
- Housing
- Legal
- Local Resources
- Long Term Care
- Transportation Needs
- Veterans
Agents are available to take calls Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET at 1-877-333-5885. The support line is also available in Spanish, at 1-888-971-2013.
AARP also has an online caregiving community where caregivers can join, for free, to talk with other caregivers and get answers from experts in the community.
You don’t have to be an AARP member to call the support line or join the online caregiving community. We’re here to help.
