Milwaukee Area: No Cost Hearing Tests on June 12th
No-Cost Hearing Tests Offer Opportunity for Early Detection and Better Health
According to projections, by 2060, approximately 62 million Americans age 60 and older will experience hearing loss – nearly double the number reported in 2020.
To help address this need, AARP Wisconsin, in collaboration with the Milwaukee County Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC), is offering no-cost hearing tests for community members at the Hear Wisconsin Mobile Clinic on June 12 at the two locations listed below:
- 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wilson Park Senior Center, 2601 W. Howard Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Washinton Park Senior Center, 4420 W. Vliet St, Milwaukee, WI 53208
Routine hearing screenings can help identify issues early, allowing individuals to seek appropriate care and maintain engagement in daily life. Community members are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity, whether for themselves or loved ones, and take a proactive step toward better hearing health!
