Cheers to a More Livable Green Bay
What happens when people who care about transportation, land use, healthy communities and quality of life come together over a drink and good conversation? We hope you’ll join us to find out.
AARP Wisconsin is proud to sponsor Cheers to Healthy, Connected Communities, a casual happy hour at Titletown Brewery bringing together people who share a vision for a Green Bay where everyone can connect with their community and get where they need to go, regardless of age or ability.

The gathering will also celebrate an exciting milestone: the City of Green Bay joining AARP’s Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities. Membership in the network reflects a commitment to making communities great places to live for people of all ages, with issues such as transportation, housing, public spaces, social connection and community engagement all playing an important role.
But creating a more livable community takes people working together.
That’s why the evening will also serve as a reunion for alumni of 1000 Friends of Wisconsin’s Community Transportation Academy, reconnecting people who have learned, shared ideas and explored ways to create safer, healthier and more accessible transportation options.
Whether you participated in the academy, are involved in Green Bay’s age-friendly efforts, or simply care about how transportation and land-use decisions shape our communities, we invite you to join the conversation.
This isn’t a presentation or a formal meeting. It’s an opportunity to make connections, exchange ideas and meet others who believe the way we design our streets, neighborhoods and transportation systems can help people remain active, engaged and connected throughout their lives.
Come raise a glass to the progress already underway in Green Bay and to the people helping imagine what comes next.
Cheers to healthier streets, stronger connections and communities that work for everyone.
