Día de los Muertos: Celebrate, Remember & Enter
Día de los Muertos is a time to celebrate the lives of those who came before us and the memories and traditions that keep them close to us. The tradition has historically been celebrated from November 1 through November 2 in Mexico and Central-American countries. Through favorite foods, music, photos, colorful traditions and shared stories, families and communities come together to honor loved ones and celebrate the joy they brought to their lives.
This season, AARP Texas invites you to join the celebration with Día de los Muertos activities in Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. From festivals and live performances to hands-on workshops exploring ofrendas, sugar skulls and other traditions, there are several ways to celebrate, learn and connect.
